It is with broken hearts that we share the sudden and unexpected passing of Warren Matthew Ginn, who left us on September 9th, 2026, at the age of 57.
To know Warren was to know someone who could light up a room without even trying. He had a way of making people feel welcome, a quick sense of humor, and a heart that was always bigger than he gave himself credit for. Warren never seemed to meet a stranger. He made friends everywhere he went, and once you were his friend, you were family. He was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back without thinking twice and probably make you laugh while he was doing it.
Warren was a proud, longtime union member of Local 27, where he found great pride in his work as a glazier and in the brotherhood he shared with his fellow members. He worked hard, took pride in his craft, and built lasting friendships along the way. But if there was one thing Warren truly loved, it was being around people. He loved competition, camaraderie, and, most of all, having a good time. Over the years, he became a familiar and much-loved face in countless local leagues. Whether he was playing golf, pool, bowling, darts, or bags Warren brought his competitive spirit, his energy, and plenty of laughs. Winning was always nice, but the friendships, stories, and memories made along the way meant even more.
To his family, Warren was so much more than all of these things. He was a dad, brother, uncle and friend who was deeply loved and will be missed beyond words.
His greatest pride and joy was his beautiful daughters, Kylie and Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn was a piece of his heart, and the love he had for her was undeniable. The days ahead will be incredibly difficult without him, but she will carry his love, his laughter, and the countless memories they shared with her always.
Although our hearts are broken by his sudden loss, we find comfort in believing that Warren is no longer hurting and is reunited in heaven with his beloved daughter, Kylie. We imagine the two of them together again, and that thought brings us a small measure of peace.
Until we meet again, Warren. We love you, we miss you, and we will carry you with us always.
A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2026, with a 3:00 p.m. memorial service to honor and celebrate Warren's life will be held at Proko Funeral Home.
