Susan Gail Wood

Susan “Sue” Wood, 83, of Union Grove, WI, formerly of Kenosha, WI, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 7, 2026, at Oak Ridge Care Center Timber Oaks in Union Grove, WI.

Born on January 22, 1943, in Kenosha, WI, she was the daughter of the late Albert T. and Olivia “Alma” (Anderson) Novak. She attended local schools and graduated from St. Joseph High School.

Sue was employed as factory worker with Samina and also worked at several insurance companies prior to her retirement.

In her younger years, she enjoyed playing bingo and bowling. Her life revolved around her family. She and her sister spent every day together, and often went out to lunch and dinner. Every Saturday, she would visit her daughter, Tammy, to have her hair done and spend time with her grandchildren. When she wasn’t working, she was always on the go, making time to be with the people she loved most.

Sue is survived by her two daughters, Tamara “Tammy” Fitch and Hollie Lorenz; her sister, Linda Donahue; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; nephew, Eric James Donahue; and other special family and friends.

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Novak; and her son-in-law, Glenn Fitch.

Private services with interment in St. George Cemetery were held.
