Shirley Pflug

Shirley A. Pflug, 91 years old, lifelong resident of Kenosha, WI passed away Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Aurora St. Luke’s South Shore, Cudahy, WI.

She was born May 18, 1934, in Somers, WI, the daughter of the late Robert E. and C. Jeannette (Johnson) Thomas.

Shirley attended local schools, graduated from Kenosha High School and attended the University of WI-Madison.

Survivors include her children, Charles (Jane) Pflug, William Pflug, Carolyn (John) Potthast and James (Annette) Pflug; grandchildren, Jennifer (Joe) Fazzari, Charles (Lyndsay) Pflug, Thomas (Samantha) Pflug, Michael (Julia) Potthast, Matthew (Rachel) Potthast, Kyle Pflug and Joey Pflug; great-grandchildren, Kylie Fazzari, Kaden Fazzari, Ethan Pflug, Emma Pflug, Lily Pflug and Jett Pflug; a niece, Gail Schwaiger and nephew, Glenn Thomas.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by infant twins, Susan and Steven Pflug in 1963; her first husband, Charles Pflug in 1985; her second husband, Donald Pfarr in 2006; her brother, Robert Thomas; niece, Audrey Thomas and nephew, Robert Thomas.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Proko Funeral Home. Interment will be private in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park, Somers, WI.
