Myron Louis Hayes of Pleasant Prairie passed away on Tuesday April 7, 2026.
Myron was born December 20, 1955, in Kenosha, WI. He was the son of Louis Gene and Margaret Imagene Hayes. Myron graduated from Tremper High School, Pleasant Prairie, WI.
On July 7, 1973, in Waukegan, IL, he married Sharon Kay Fraley; they were blessed with a daughter, Tracy Lynn.
Myron worked 30 years at Laddish Tri-Clover. He was a proud union member of IAM-34 lodge in Kenosha. When Tri-Clover closed, he worked for S & F machine, until his retirement. Myron started his business, American Outback Taxidermy (AOT) 20 years ago.
You could always find Myron in out in his shop where many hunting stories were told, and a few beers were had. Myron loved and cherished his family, and he loved his friends dearly. He loved being up at the cabin “Gobbler” spring turkey hunting, putting in food plots, summer fishing, and fall bow hunting, which he always looked forward to the most. Myron was a true outdoorsman.
Myron is survived by his wife Sherry, of Pleasant Prairie, WI; his brother, Jeff Hayes of Brooklyn, WI; grandchildren, Dakota and Sadie; and great-grandchildren, Todd of Paddock Lake, WI, and Jebediah and Colt of Seneca, SC.
Myron was preceded in death by his daughter, Tracy Lynn (Kyle) Storm; parents Louis Gene and Margaret Imagene Hayers; and his sister, Diane (Art) Ruperd.
A celebration of Myron’s life will be held at the Parkway Chateau, 12304 75th Street, Kenosha, WI (entrance B) on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 5:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M.
