A Life Remembered

Obituary

LaVerna “Sue” Nisich, 94, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 1, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Sue was born on April 27, 1932, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the daughter of Charles and Dorothy (Williamson) Randle. She was a graduate of Bradford High School, attended Moody Bible Institute and Briercrest College, and later began working as an office clerk at Kenosha Auto Transport. It was there that she met the love of her life, Orlyn. The two were married on June 17, 1961, and together built a life filled with love and raised two daughters.

Sue’s faith was an important part of who she was and how she lived her life. She was deeply involved in her church and had a special heart for ministry, particularly children’s ministry. Her love for God and her desire to serve others were evident throughout her life.

Sue is survived by her beloved husband, Orlyn; her daughters, Georgia Nisich and Carolyn Kelley; grandchildren, Ashley Carpenter, Brittany Wilke, and Adam Wilke; great-grandchildren, Ava Sheffer, Anthony Goglia IV, Olivia Carpenter, and Ivan Carpenter; a great-great-grandchild, Sawyer New; and her brother, Clifford Randle.

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her siblings, Shirley Randle, Wanda Aker, and Donald Randle.

A memorial gathering will be held from 2 PM until the time of her memorial service at 3 PM on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at Proko Funeral Home.
