Judith Lynn Knutson, 74, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2026.

Born on June 7, 1952, Judy was the beloved daughter of Burdett and Zelma (Whiterock) Knutson.

Judy dedicated her career to education as a language teacher at Central High School in Paddock Lake. In addition to teaching, she served as the school's girls’ volleyball coach, encouraging teamwork, determination, and confidence in the young athletes she mentored.

Judy was a devoted baseball fan who faithfully cheered for the Milwaukee Brewers and the Kenosha Kingfish. Her love of the game was reflected in her extensive collection of memorabilia celebrating both teams. She was also an avid collector of Peanuts and Snoopy treasures. She enjoyed taking bus trips to historical sites and tried to visit ad many major league ball parks as she could.

Judy was also involved in her community. She served on the Board of All in Bloom and was actively involved with the Parkside Alumni Society. A lover of nature, she found great joy in spending time outdoors and capturing its beauty through photography.

Her faith was an important part of her life, and she was a longtime member of Plymouth Congregational Church.

She is survived by her cousins, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Private services have been held.

I knew Judith through Brookside and she was a lovely person to work with. She always made community no matter where she was and was a strong advocate for others. We will miss her compassion and jokes greatly!

Deepest condolences to señorita Knutson’s family and friends. She was the BEST Spanish teacher I had in High School and in college!! She really cared about her students and giving the the very best educational experience! I appreciated her then but as an adult, I appreciated her even more, understanding how much she truly gave and cared about her students. She was in charge of Spanish Club and we did so many fun cultural things in her class! She was among the top 5 teachers I have had in life. She has certainly earned her angel wings!! God bless and fly free!

"Fraulein" worked so hard to bring German classes to Central High School in the early eighties, and I was proud ebe in the inaugural class. She also was our German Club sponsor. Endlessly patient and cheerful, and a wonderful teacher. I will never forget her.

I remember her well and very fondly. Certainly as one of her students and also the occasional communication over time. Way-back-when, we has Spanish Camp in Lake Genova at a lodge involving several schools - and she was an amazing proponent of the event. And she maintained a sense of humor in the face of some kids doing their best to prank her. She was always good to me, particularly during a time when I was dealing with a bad illness. For me she ranks with a group of people I care known who have done spectacular community support activities - she made a difference
