John Anthony Chiappetta, 78 years old ok Kenosha, WI passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026, at Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, Milwaukee, WI.

He was born August 25, 1947, in Kenosha, WI, the son of the late Anthony and Carol (Minton) Chiappetta. After high school John went on to serve in the U.S. Air Force. On October 30, 1999, John married Mireya Alvarez.

He was known for his good heart, open-mindedness, and his love for being a jokester, always bringing laughter to those around him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Mireya; his children, Jose, Leslee, Shawn, and Christopher; his sister, Carolyn Chiappetta; and his cherished grandchildren, Noah, Naliella, Nidelisse, Ilina, Cassandra, Alexander, Nathaniel, and Natalee. John was preceded in death by his parents. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Proko Funeral Home. Interment with military honors will take place at 2:00 p.m. at Southern Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove, WI.
