Obituary
Kenosha – John “Buzz” J. Paricka, 79, died at his home on Thursday, September 17, 2026. He was born in Kenosha on October 03, 1946, the son of John and Irene (nee: Potter) Paricka. Mr. Paricka was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School and the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. On September 29th 1973, he married the former Carole Drexel. He had been employed by A.M.C. and Snap On Tools. Mr. Paricka enjoyed flying radio controlled airplanes, working on cars and enjoying being with his extended family. Surviving him is his brother, Joe (Carol) Paricka of Evans, Ga, his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. His wife Carole, mother Irene Paricka and brother Paul preceded him in death.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Proko Funeral Home on Saturday, October 10th at 2 p.m. to the time of the service at 3 p.m. Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Racine R/C Club. You can mail donations directly to the club's, secretary/treasure, Bob Johnson, Racine RC Club, 2248 Penbrook, Racine, WI 53406.

I met Buzz many years ago through the Racine RC Club. He always had a smile on his face and a cheerful disposition. He was the unofficial photographer for the club. He liked taking pictures of people putting food in their mouths at the club picnic. He had a good sense of humor. After my P51 Mustang nosed over on takeoff and broke the firewall free, he took a picture of the motor pointing downward and he posted it as me having too much downthrust. He will be sorely missed.

Buzz and I worked at Snap-On together
for many years. He was a good friend and coworker. RIP friend.

Rest in Peace Buzz, always remember you coming to my wrestling matches and a few high school football games! Although I wish our family's were closer I'm glad for the times we had and I'll never forget that quick wit. We will all be together again in Glory!

I remember him flying his gas, hand-line/controlled airplanes in northside park many years ago. He was very good at it.

So sad to hear of Buzz passing. There was never a time I saw you when we didnt have a laugh. Will miss the Rons Place days 30 yrs ago meeting up with you, Scott Yance, Ken Yance,and Greg Amore for beers and laughs. Rest in peace buddy.
