Obituary
Joanne Bruno, 81 years old passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.
She was born July 25, 1944, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Anthony and Josephine (Tavolacci) LaPaglia.
Joanne was an avid reader, enjoyed shopping, and listening to music.
Survivors include her daughter, Christine Polyak; grandchildren, Michael Polyak, David Polyak, and Anthony (Jen) Spatafora; and great-granddaughters, Stella, Rosalie and Hazel.
In addition to her parents, Joanne was preceded in death by her son, Phillip Anthony Bruno.
Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Proko Funeral Home.

A couple of the first things that come to mind when thinking of Joanne is her laugh and shopping. We had such fun on our visits and trips.
So sorry she didn't have more time with her family after moving to the area. She will be missed.

So so sorry to hear of my dear friend's passing. She came through tough health challenges last year like a trooper and was absolutely loving her new home in Kenosha so close to her Grandson and family. I, along with my family, adored her, such a funny gal. She always had us laughing. She will be dearly missed. Love and prayers to the family.
