A Life Remembered

Obituary

Jeffery S. Cibrario, 62 years old, of Panama City Beach, FL passed away Monday, April 20, 2026, at Rush University Memorial Hospital in Chicago after a courageous six-year battle with liver cancer. He was born on July 3, 1963, in Boscobel, WI, the eldest son of John and Rosemary Cibrario.

He attended local schools, graduating from St. Joseph’s Academy. He attended and graduated from MATC in Milwaukee in 1983 with a degree in Culinary & Restaurant Management. Jeff worked for Disney in Florida and catered numerous events. He worked as a prep chef in management positions for a number of restaurants until his illness. Jeff played baseball throughout all his school years. He also enjoyed fishing, golfing, and hunting with family and friends. He was a lover of rock music, mostly 80’s rock, and especially enjoyed listening to his favorite band, Journey. He loved the Lord, nature, and making special birthday cakes for family and friends.

In 2022, he married Jolanta Wysocki in Florida where they resided after a long courtship. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him, and they will all remember his sincere smile and contagious laugh.

He is survived by his wife Jolanta; step-sons, Alexander and Nicholas Tanasa; mother, Rosemary Cibrario; mother-in-law Teresa Wysocki; sister-in-law, Elizabeth (Damian) Malinowski; brothers, Mark (Kathy) Cibrario, Robb (Pam) Cibrario; nephew, Kyle (Paula) Cibrario; nieces, Kaci Cibrario, Deanna (Mitchel) Keesey, Samantha Cibrario, Emmie Cibrario, Dylan Malinowski and Braden Malinowski; and Godmother, Evelyn Fabian. Our combined families will be forever grateful to all of the ICU doctors, nurses, and technicians at Rush University Memorial Hospital over the past five and a half years. Also, to our Lord and Savior for guiding him in strength to bare his many procedures and rehabilitations.
