Obituary
James Domenic Campolo, 85, of Union Grove, WI, formerly of Kenosha, WI, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 14, 2026, at Oak Ridge Care Center.
Born on August 24, 1941, in Kenosha, WI, he was the son of the late Anthony and Ida (Serpe) Campolo. He attended local schools and graduated from Bradford High School.
James was a devoted New York Yankees fan. He was also a proud member of UAW Local 72. He enjoyed spending his time fishing, watching birds and wildlife, and creating things through crafting.
He is survived by his four children, Cathy G. (Steve) Devlin of Zephyrhills, FL, Tammy L. (Tim) Becker of Reedsburg, WI, Timothy J. Campolo of Kenosha, WI, and Jeffery M. Campolo of Kenosha, WI; nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; two siblings, Rose Puder and John Campolo; and his friend and former wife, Gloria Fugate. He is further survived by other special family and friends.
James was also preceded in death by his brother, Michael A. Campolo.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Proko Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St. George Cemetery.
