Marnie Josephine Riley

Marnie Josephine Riley, age 42, of Asheville, NC, passed away at Hospice in Asheville, surrounded by family and friends, on April 27, 2016, after a long, hard fought battle with breast cancer. Marnie was born on July 15, 1973, in Kenosha, WI, and is the daughter of Randy and Patricia (Fonk) Pulera of Kenosha. She is a graduate of Tremper High School and earned her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development from Gateway Technical College in Kenosha. Marnie was a homemaker, wife and mother of three children. In addition to enjoying her beloved Maltese, Ruby, she liked tennis, yoga, music, arranging flowers and loved spending time with her family and friends. Marnie was preceded in death by her grandmother, Josephine Pulera; and her grandparents, Caroline and Ernest Garofalo and Adelaide and Russell Fonk. She is survived by her son Jackson (16), daughter McKenna (15), son Owen (11), husband Tom, parents Randy and Patricia Pulera, sister Corey Pulera, brother Casey Pulera and 19 nieces and nephews. A memorial Mass will be held on Friday, May 6th, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 7307 40th Avenue, Kenosha, WI, at 12:00 noon. Visitation with the family will take place on Friday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
