Dearest Kathe and family, We cannot begin to express how grateful we are to God that he brought us all together at Yale so many years ago. Our lives have been touched by two angels who became our dear friends. We have shared many great times and many sorrows together and our lives will be forever linked as we climb the stairway to where we will all be together at that tailgating party in heaven. Big Al was not only been an inspiration but a motivation to be better, to try harder and to live life to the fullest, always doing the right thing, even if it was not the easiest. We are better people for having him in our lives.

My Dear Kathe, Jim, & Kathy,What a Guy! Tough! Relentless! Honest! What I am today was nurtured by the foundation "Big Al" provided . His attention to details molded me into the professional I've become. He provided me an opportunity when others told him "I couldn't cut it". Together we proved them all wrong. My children still talk about the visits we had at your home in Waconda and how "warm and welcomed" they felt. This tribute was a reflection on the love both you and Al had for family and friends. On behalf of myself, Louise, Regina and Jenna we express our deepest sympathy to the Langford and Bradford families. Thanks "Big Al" God Bless Love, Tom

Dearest Kathe, We are so sorry to hear about the loss of your 'Big Al.' We know he gave it his all and you were only a step away always. Ron and I are so proud that you, Al and Barb decided to crash our reunion a few years ago and give us, my daughter and her children a chance to get to know all of you. Zach still claims to be 'Leroy Langford' and receives a special invitation each year! We have missed you the last few reunions, as it wasn't the same without the three of you. Would love to be able to be there with you during this time, but know that our thoughts, prayers, hugs and kisses are sent your way.
