Louis L. Prekop

Louis L. Prekop of Kenosha, WI, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband to the late Carmen Prekop. Also preceded in death by his sister, Anne, and several other beloved relatives. Louis is survived by beloved son, David; nieces and nephews: Jean, James, John, Janet, Jeffery, Jerold, Joseph, and several other relatives and friends.Louie had a wonderful life with his wife, Carmen, and son, David. The family lived in Milwaukee, WI in their earlier years, making many fond memories spending time with extended family which often included big gatherings with aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. In the 1960’s, Louis worked as the Parkway and Uptown Theater manager and then for Briggs and Stratton for twenty-years. In later years, Louie moved to Kenosha and volunteered at Aurora Medical Center for seven years. He enjoyed movie nights with David, family & friends. He was an avid reader for many years and recently became a word search fanatic. He also enjoyed traveling out west, and places such as the John Wayne Museum and Devils Tower. Their favorite vacation spot was of course, Disney. His sense of humor was endless and he never lost his appreciation for a beautiful woman.The family would like to especially thank Diane and Arevelon for their loving care of Louie in his home over the last few years. Additionally, Heartland Hospice nurses Angela and Heather, and more recently the care given by the staff at the Manor of Kenosha Nursing Home.A visitation will be held at St. Anne Catholic Church, 9094 Prairie Ridge Blvd, Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158 on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will be held privately at Mt.
