Edward Francis Point from Salem Wisconsin, 51 years old, passed away unexpectedly Friday June 9th, 2023, at his home due to ongoing health issues. Eddie was born June 17th, 1971, in Burlington Wis. to Edward and Terese Point. He was the oldest of three sons. Eddie graduated from Saint Francis Xavier Grade School and Central High School. He also attended Carthage College. Eddie was a hardworking man for many years in the Laborers’ Union, which he was proud of and thoroughly enjoyed. He had a sarcastic nature with a generous heart of gold, never hesitating to help anyone out. His wisdom was something to be shared and if you were lucky enough to call him a friend, you knew that he was one of the smartest people that you had met and that he would always have your back. Because he was a big kid at heart, his nephews Austin and Ethan adored him and went on many fishing trips together, which they will cherish forever. He was the type of big brother to both Joseph “Joe” and Robert “Bob” that always had their back. They enjoyed many outdoor adventures together, going fishing and hunting. Eddie was an avid fisherman, which stemmed from his Grandpa “Pa” to whom he adored. Eddie is predeceased by his maternal grandparents Daniel and Bernadine Czajkowski, paternal grandparents Frank and Mary Point, and his parents Edward and Terese Point. He is also predeceased by his uncles, Daniel Czajkowski, Raymond Milnes and Leo Point. Left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Joseph “Joe” Point and Robert “Bob” (Lisa) Point; his nephews Austin and Ethan Point; as well as many cousins, aunts and uncles. Eddie was “one of a kind” and he will be deeply missed by his family and many friends. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 24th, at 2:00pm to honor him. His celebration will be held at Jeddy’s Bar 1660 240th Ave, Kansasville, WI. 53139. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may contribute to Austin and Ethan's college fund. Sending our sincere sympathy and prayers to Joe Bob and their families in the loss of Eddie. Some of our greatest memories include coming up to Wisconsin for days of going to the lake, driving the riding mower and especially sharing Thanksgiving when Terry made a fabulous meal including home grown turkey and all the dressings to go with it. We are so sorry about your loss. Love and prayers for all of you. Aunt Mary Novotny Jeffries, Uncle Ed, Tom Jr, Anne , Rob, Lou Lou & Ayla Jeffries.

Eddie will be missed “Dearly” especially by me! When we moved out to Paddock Lake Eddie found out we were “city folk” fast because I did not know his turkey’s he and his brothers raised for the County Fair were boys and girls!!So the laughter began from that day forward! He also knew “The California Raisins” commercial (1986) made me laugh so he stated and played the County Fair’s games till he won all of them for me AND to this day I have them all and I will even treasure them more!!! Eddie was my first collage student I hired during his summers in between semesters for the Village of Paddock Lake the first year I became Village President! So many more stories that I could write my own book of short stories of memories you have left for me and my Family to hold on too!I will always Love and Cherish our times we had!Love,Marlene Goodson
