Obituary

Dorothy Ann Jackson “DA” passed away February 7, 2022, from health complications. She was born February 9, 1944, to the late Neal and Susie (Strong) Jackson. Dorothy Ann was baptized in Jesus’ name and filled with the Holy Ghost. She worked for Premium Plastic in Chicago, IL, then moved to Kenosha, WI. While living in Kenosha, she was a community service advocate. Dorothy Ann worked at Lincoln Middle School and the Goodwill. She leaves to mourn four children, Carey of Florida, Rosalind, Eric (Joyce), and Cornealius Jackson; special grandchild she raised, Corshai; ten grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; siblings, Ethel Parker and Robert (Edna); and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Emma, and Neal. If I never speak to you again, walk together children and don’t get weary. There is a great camp meeting in the Promise Land. Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Proko Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
