I am very sorry to hear the loss of her Aunt Nancy, and I know this has been a difficult and hard road for everyone. I just wanted to give my condolences on your loss and know that, although I didn't get to meet Nancy in person, her smiles and kindness will be in my memory forever.Sincerely yours, Fumiko Miyamoto

My dear precious friend. We started at Abbott Laboratories the same year and became immediate friends as we worked in the Abbott Diagnostic Division (ADD); both of us later moving to HPD. We were best of friends. Shared many ups and downs. Regardless of how many miles might have separated us, we remained in contact. My family got transferred by Abbott in 1988 and I remember, we left Illinois to head to Ohio on your birthday, May 22nd...you were expecting Michelle. And, I always remember Michelle's birthday, as I was so very happy for you and Bob, January, 1989. What a blessing she has been for you both. I will miss sending you birthday cards (in fact I had already purchased your card for your 70th year next month); Christmas cards and just "thinking of you" cards...you were always close in my heart. I wish I could be there, but at my age, I just don't have the confidence to travel by myself any longer, but know, I AM THERE, standing right there, missing you already. God Bless your soul Nancy, my first friend at Abbott, my forever friend. I shall look for you when the good Lord calls me home. Love Dixie Reid, Delaware Ohio
