Betty A. Pulera passed away at the age of 98 on Saturday, January 9, 2021 in Green Bay, WI, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Kenosha on January 4, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Trusiana (Zarletti) Ricci. On May 23, 1942, she married Sam Pulera at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on January 22, 2000. She enjoyed playing go-fish with her great-grandchildren, playing Bingo, watching Family Feud, eating chocolates, and drinking A&W Root Beer. Known for her cooking and baking, her family and friends enjoyed many meals and treats. She was a natural caregiver and was always there for her friends and family. She was employed at several places throughout her life, including Vincent McCall, Mac’s Canteen, and a caregiver at Visiting Nurse. She was a former member of the Italian American Ladies Society and Mount Carmel Church. She is survived by her daughter, Geri Pulera; two grandchildren, Brian (Jenny) Perrault and Rhonda (Chris) Cumicek, and great grandchildren, Brianna, Gioia, Jordan, Brynn, Mason, Logan, Ethan, Carter, Aiden, and Ava. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters; husband, Sam Pulera; daughter Lynn Perrault; son-in-law, Ron Perrault; and a great-granddaughter, Ella Cumicek. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 15, at Proko Funeral Home, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Facial coverings and social distancing are required to attend services.
