MaryJane Tyson, 85, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at Froedtert South-St. Catherine’s Medical Center Campus, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Manistique, MI, on January 31, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Emma (Vanderwalle) LaLonde. On October 31, 1953, she married Peter J. Savaglio at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on March 3, 1982. On November 4, 1983, she married Hugh Peter Tyson at St. Therese Catholic Church. MaryJane was employed by St. Catherine’s Hospital for over 25 years. Working with the newborns in the maternity center was her true love and passion. She enjoyed spending time at her home in Manistique, camping, reading, and traveling in her motorhome. You could find MaryJane and Pete dressed and playing the roles of Mr. and Mrs. Claus during the Christmas holiday seasons. Surviving MaryJane is her husband, Pete; three daughters, Rosemany (Clifford) Stollings, Cathy (Chuck) Olsen, and Diana (William) Thomas; three step-daughters, Judy (Bob) Houte, Ann (Dale) Herolt, and Joan (Jeff) Zeimetz; a step-son, David (Debra) Tyson; seven grandchildren; Matthew (Lynde) Meiers, Heidi Thomas, William (Sarah) Thomas, Holly Thomas, Rebecca Stollings, Rachael (Colt Jager) Stollings, and Aaron (Valerie) Stollings; 12 step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, Dominik, William, Nathan, Alexandria, Landon, Olivia, Ayla, Hailey, Austin, Alyssa, Jacob, and Bennett; and 10 step-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by two brothers, James (Ann) LaLonde and David (Kris) LaLonde; other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Mary Rose Stollings; a great-granddaughter, Kylie Rose Mitchell; six siblings, Donald and Harold LaLonde, Verna Kaithen, Inez Boudah, Betty Fox, and Shirley Ann LaLonde; and a special nephew, Donald Sellman.
