Dear Paula and family, We were saddened to hear the news of Stan's passing. From being neighbors on 79th St. then being neighbors in River Oaks and running into each other on occasion over the years since moving, we would always have a good laugh and enjoy the stories of the neighborhood, fishing stories and more. Another good guy gone too soon. Sincerely, Kris and Larry Miller

Stan was warm, kind, and generous, and protective of his friends. He welcomed me into his friendship circle and helped me find community resources. He loved to use his barbecue grill. He was thoughtful and went out of his way to help others. He will be sorely missed.

My deepest sympathies to the family. Cancer S**KS! I'm going to miss waving to Stan every morning while he walked around the hood and I drove off to work in the morning. He is a fun, generous soul who you could easily talk to. And He loved his family very much!! May God comfort you all at this time of great sorrow.
