Darlene M. Mason, 82, of Kenosha, passed away Friday, October 13, 2017, at Grande Prairie Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Pleasant Prairie. Born on September 18, 1935, in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late George and Isabel (Yokom) Richards. She received her education in the schools of Chicago before moving to Kenosha in 1966 to make her home. On March 17, 1954, she was united in marriage to Fay E. Mason; he preceded her in death on May 28, 1998. Darlene retired from Ray Radigan’s Restaurant after 35 years. She was a member of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, The Royal Neighbors, and was involved with the Kenosha Blood Bank. She is survived by three sons, Robert Mason, William Mason and Brian Mason, all of Kenosha; a daughter, Catherine Williams of Kenosha, WI; a brother, George Richards of Billings, MT; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Fay Edwin Mason, Jr.; two grandchildren, Demitrus and De’Jaynae; two brothers, James Burns and Walter Richards; and a sister in infancy.
