Louis Aceto, 84, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 18, 2017, at North Point Senior Living. Born on October 1, 1932, in Marano Principato, Italy, he was the son of the late Peter and Terese (Chiappetta) Aceto. After moving to the United States at the age of 14, Louis lived on the west side of Chicago. He was drafted into the United States Army and served in the Korean War. Following his service, he became a butcher and eventually was co-owner of OK Super Foods grocery store. After his retirement, he relocated to Kenosha. Louis was a Chicago White Sox and Chicago Blackhawks fan. He also enjoyed smoking cigars. Louis was an excellent golfer; he had trophies for 5 holes in 1, and held a 2 handicap. Surviving Louis is his son and daughter-in-law, Peter and Lisa Aceto of Kenosha; two grandchildren, Tara and Jack Sullivan; a greatgrandchild, Oliver; and a sister, Maria Chiappetta of Italy. He was preceded in death by a son, Louis Aceto Jr.; and a brother, Gabriel Aceto. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 23rd, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 9091 Prairie Ridge Blvd, Pleasant Prairie WI, at 12:00 noon. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
