Dianne L. Presterl, 79, of Salem, WI, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at Hospice Alliance Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 17, 1937, in Nekoosa, WI, the daughter of the late Henry and Lucille (Frazier) Braze. Dianne was a graduate of Bradford High School and later attended Gateway Technical College, where she earned her diploma as a Licensed Practical Nurse. On December 8, 1956, she married Wayne Presterl at First Congregational Church of Kenosha. Dianne was employed with Kenosha Hospital, various nursing homes, and later with Hospice Alliance in Pleasant Prairie as a nursing coordinator. Surviving Dianne are her husband, Wayne of Salem; son, Mark (Patti) Presterl of Kenosha; daughter, Marcia (Paul) Miller of Kenosha; four grandchildren, Aaron (fiancée Lindsay Blom) Presterl, Grant Presterl, Ryan Miller, and Rachel Miller; a great-granddaughter, Lucy Presterl; and a brother-in-law, Dale Presterl of Kenosha. She is further survived by other relatives and many, many friends. Dianne was a lifelong adventurer. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Wayne of sixty years. They went all across the country by motorcycle, boat, and car. She and Wayne were longtime members of the Skinoshans and the Kenosha Yacht Club. Dianne cherished time with her family, specially her great-granddaughter Lucy. As a lifelong sports fan, Dianne cheered on the Packers, Cubs, and Blackhawks to numerous victories. A celebration of life will be held for Dianne on Thursday, March 2nd, at the Proko Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be held privately at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
