Jessie M. Paulson

Jessie Mary Paulson, 91, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at Brookside Care Center surrounded by her loving family. Born in Kenosha on September 2, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Mercurio and Saveria (Murio) Tenuta. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she was educated in local schools. On August 13, 1949, she married Robert Henry Paulson at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Jessie was formerly employed at Nash/Rambler and more recently for many years as a lunch lady at Holy Rosary School. She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Holy Rosary Ladies Society and the Italian American Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Robert Paulson; a daughter, Barbara (Albert) Lucci of Kenosha; a son, Robert Paulson, Jr. of Kenosha; a sister, Lulu (Alfredo) Greco of Kenosha; a brother, Jospeh (Marge) Tenuta of Somers; three grandchildren, A.J. (Melissa) Lucci, Tim (Niki) Lucci and Sara (David Poltrock) Lucci; and four great-grandchildren, Madeline Lucci, Dominic Lucci, Owen Poltrock and Nash Lucci. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Minnie Schuppert, Gilda Conti and Rose Andrews; and four brothers, Sam Tenuta, Tony Tenuta, Frank Tenuta and George Tenuta. Jessie’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Brookside Care Center for all of the compassion and care that they gave her during her time there.
