Steven C. Besch, 22, of Kenosha, was called by our lord to eternal life on January 10, 2016. He was born on September 27, 1993, to Christine A. Slater and William C. Besch. He was educated and graduated from Reuther Central High School. Steven was a young man of few words, but his heart was gold, with an everlasting passion to care for others around him. He was a loving and kind, son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend. He enjoyed many outdoor activities with his father; which included, archery, hunting, fishing, playing cribbage, and camping at Blackhawk Campground. One of Steven’s greatest joys was training and spending time with dogs, Max and Knox. He was also an avid Packer fan and loved football. In his earlier years, he was an extremely talented skateboarder and loved the game of basketball. Steven had a great gift of listening to others. His kind heart will be deeply missed by his devoted mother Christine (Jeffery) Slater, his father William C. Besch, his sister Kristina R. Besch and brother Nicholas R. Slater, all of Wisconsin, as well as numerous family and friends who will always love him dearly. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Roseann M. Camilli and his paternal grandfather, Paul W. Besch. A visitation will be held at Proko Funeral Home on Thursday, January 14th, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a brief service to follow. Interment will be private.
