Barbara Frances (Murphy) Flahive, born June 15, 1936, in Janesville, WI. Our wife and mother passed away September 9, 2013, at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha. She married her high school sweetheart Richard Flahive, Sr. on July 25, 1955. She worked at St. Catherine’s Hospital for many years and was a member of Holy Cross Church in Bristol. Surviving are her husband, Richard Flahive, Sr.; her children, Michael (Patti), Christine, William (Karen), Richard (Lisa) Jr., John, Robert (Debbie) and Billy. Her seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her longtime friends, Marcia, Rosina, Glenda, Joanne and the Miller family who were thoughtful and kind to her and whom she loved very much. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 14th, at the Proko Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m. Interment will be private at Spring Grove Cemetery in Delavan, WI.
