Henry J. Wiercinski, 89, of Kenosha, went into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, July 7, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 2, 1924, in Kenosha, WI, the son of the late Peter J. and Anna M. (Brzosnowski) Wiercinski. Henry attended local schools. On December 28, 1948, he married Helen Ann Morris at St. Casimir’s Catholic Church. She preceded him in death on December 4, 2010. Henry was an electrician by trade and a member of the Local 127 IBEW Union. Henry enjoyed horse shoes, bowling, finding deals, freebies, but most of all he loved to metal detect and travel. He was a real jokester and put a smile on the face of many. Surviving Henry are his three children, Catherine Wiercinski of Kenosha, Robert (Sandra) Wiercinski of Bristol, and Michael Wiercinski of Kenosha; three grandchildren, Brian, Scott and Keith; and four great-grandchildren, Timothy, Jessica, Allan and Jack. He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Timothy “Tim”; a great-grandson, Steven; four brothers and one sister. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Lenny Montemurro and the entire Hospice Advantage Team. A memorial Mass will be held on Monday, July 15th, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church at 2:00 p.m. Following Mass a memorial gathering will be held at Villa Ciera, 1940-27th Avenue, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
