Shirley L. Falasz, 67, of Lake Geneva, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2011, at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha. Born in Burlington, WI, on March 28, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Lorraine (Herda) Konrad. She attended the schools of Twin Lakes and was a graduate of Wilmot High School. On May 27, 1967, she married Gerald Falasz in Chicago. Shirley enjoyed crafts, gardening, crossword puzzles and traveling. Surviving are her husband, Gerald of Lake Geneva; three children, Scott (Tracie) Falasz of Twin Lakes, Rebecca (Ben) Matteson of Montana, and Jennifer (Tim Triggs) Falasz of Fox Lake, IL; a brother, Michael Konrad of Mesa, AZ; two sisters, Jean (Ed) Satterson of Genoa City, WI, and Karen (Allen) Mertes of Powers Lake, WI; her five grandchildren, Michael, Kevin and Samantha Calkins, Brennen Knox, and Ashley Falasz; and also eight nieces and six nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a nephew, Barry Falasz; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Evelyn Falasz.
