Laura L. Straley, 52, of Kenosha, passed away unexpectedly at her residence, on Friday, August 5, 2011. Born in Kenosha on March 23, 1959, she was the daughter of Ronald H. Kole and Barbara J. Summers. She was a graduate of Tremper High School and USC with a Nursing Degree. On November 17, 2000, she married Russell D. Straley in Kenosha. Laura was employed by Woodstock, Ridgewood, and Kenosha Hospital. She enjoyed interior decorating, crafts, swimming and camping. She is survived by her husband, Russell of Kenosha; her parents, Ronald H. (Kim) Kole and Barbara J. (Bud) Summers; her siblings, Sandra Kole, Christine (Tom) Kutchin, Heidi (Mike) Schultz, Ronald Kole, and Steve Kole; her nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Jake, Kayla, and Ashley; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Laura was preceded in death by her sister, Kimberly Hart, and grandparents, Harold and Phyllis Thomsen and Gertrude Kole. A memorial service will be held at Proko Funeral Home on Thursday, August 11th, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
