I was searching for Mike on-line and I found Edna's obit. My condolences to the Sandmire family. I haven't seen you guys in decades. Edna was almost like a second mom to me, as Mike and I were best friends in grade school. Edna gave me the nickname, "Colombo" as my C.B. radio handle when I was in the 4th grade. She will be missed.

Please accept my sincere condolences of the death of Edna.I and my wife at the time Zona Skinner, along with our daughters Teresa and Kimberly, were the Sandmire's neighbors on South 7th street in Milwaukee from about 1969 to 1971. There could have not been better people to have as both friends and neighbors and we have thought of you folks many times over the years. Our best to the family and once again please accept our condolences.
