Kenneth R. Everson, 81, of Kenosha, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 20, 2010. Kenneth was born February 9, 1929, in Kenosha, the son of the late Clarence and Florence (Krueger) Everson. He served in the United States Army during World War II, from February of 1946 until February of 1949. He received the WWII Victory Medal and Occupation Medal. He married Luella Aiello, who he later divorced. He then married Jackie Harig, who preceded him in death. Most recently he married Esther (Zappa) Procarione. He was employed as a concrete mason for Bolander Construction and James Cape and Son Construction, until his retirement. Kenneth was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Swedish American, Danish Brotherhood, American Legion, Moose Lodge, and the VFW Post 1865. He was an avid golfer and outdoor’s man. He was a huge Green Bay Packer fan. He is survived by his wife, Esther of Kenosha; his two daughters, Karen (Deane) Schneeberger and Christine Everson, both of Kenosha; his two step-sons, John (Mary) Procarione of Greenfield, and James (Diane) Procarione of Pleasant Prairie; two grandchildren, Jennifer Waswrick and Richard Waswrick; five step-grandchildren, Katie, Lauren, Jamie, Andrea, and Cyrus; two great-grandchildren, Drake Waswrick and Lucca Vito; one brother, Robert (Patricia) Everson of Kenosha; and his two nieces, Diane and Debra. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 23rd, at Trinity Lutheran Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Esther . . . we are so very sorry to hear of Kenny's passing. All your Gulf Harbors friends ask about you each season. I will send them all the sad news. We miss you and hope you will come see us when the snow flies! I hope my dad catches up with Kenny for a round of golf. God bless you my friend.
