Saverio F. "Sam" Aiello, 88, of Kenosha, passed away Monday, October 5, 2009, at Brookside Care Center. Born on March 1, 1921, in Marano Principato, Italy, he was the son of the late Antonio and Divina (Bilotto) Aiello. He was educated in the schools of Italy, coming to Kenosha in 1953 to make his home. On January 27, 1946, he married Fortunata Pellegrino in Italy. For over 30 years he worked at American Motors/Chrysler Corp., retiring in 1983. Sam was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife, Fortunata; two children, Antonio (Lynn) Aiello and Carolina Aiello both of Kenosha; and a grandson, Brett Aiello of Glendale, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Divina Aiello, and a brother, Guiseppe Aiello. The family would like to thank Brookside Care Center and Dr. Mitchell Ziarko for the wonderful care given to their husband and father. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 9th, from Proko Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum.
