Jemella F. Trecroci, 95, of Kenosha passed away Monday, January 12th, 2009, at St. Catherine’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born November 14, 1913, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Julius and Filomena (Gentile) Albini. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she attended local schools, Bain Elementary, Central Jr. High, and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School in January of 1932. On June 18, 1938, she married Ernest P. Trecroci at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He passed away July 5, 1982. Jemella had been employed by the Kenosha County Relief Unit as a stenographer. Later she worked in Medical Records as a Medical Transcriber at St. Catherine’s Hospital. She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Holy Rosary Ladies Society, Italian American Ladies Auxiliary, the Encore Group from Johnson Bank, AARP and a former member of Senior Action Council. Surviving are her three children, Gerald (Jane) Trecroci of Pacifica, CA, Ernest Trecroci of Morgantown, PA, and Susan (James) Paskiewicz of Kenosha; eight grandchildren, Anthony Trecroci, Dan Trecroci, Christine Whitney, Jessica Brangiel, Jennifer Paskiewicz, Gina Melby, John Paskiewicz and Laura Paskiewicz; and seven great-grandchildren, Ben Trecroci, Beth Trecroci, Lucas Trecroci, Elyse Brangiel, Erin Brangiel, Conlin Whitney and Sophia Jemella Melby. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jean Trecroci; two sisters, Elsie Gigliotti, Elvy Salerno; and a brother, Alvo Albini. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 16th, from Proko Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. George Cemetery.
