Evelyn R. Derwae, 77, of Kenosha, passed away Monday, September 24th, 2007, at her residence. Born in Kenosha on May 16, 1930, Evelyn was the daughter of the late Andrew Majerko and Katherine Bakula. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School. On November 9, 1954, she married Roger A. Derwae in Las Vegas, NV. Evelyn is survived by her husband, Roger; a daughter, Kristine Derwae; two granddaughters, Kelli and Kari Steckbauer; three brothers, Robert (Connie) Majerko of Racine, Eugene (Vivian) Majerko of Kenosha, and Raymond (Rosie) Majerko of Somers; and a sister, Helen (William) Bader of Kenosha. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen; four brothers, Andy, Edward, Gus and Irving Majerko; and two sisters, Mary Doms and Elsie Majerko in infancy. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 26th, at Proko Funeral Home at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at St. George Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at Proko Funeral Home from 9:00 am until the time of the service.
