Julia A. Domenk, 91, of Kenosha, passed away Sunday, November 26th, 2006 at Hospitality Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Kenosha. Born February 15, 1915, in Chicago, she was the daughter of Michael and Anna (Morretudes) Kucala. She was educated in Chicago. On June 23, 1936, she married Paul Domenk, Sr. at Holy Rosary Church and moved to Kenosha in 1966 when her husband retired to live closer to other family members. Julia and Paul had four children. Most of her life, Julia was a homemaker. Before retiring, she worked at Harvey Elementary School and Sears Roebuck & Company. She was a former member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Julia loved playing cards and bingo, baking, gardening and being with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Laurie (Keith) Badham of Franksville; daughter-in-law, Barbara Domenk Stasierowski of Kenosha; five grandchildren, Gina (Ray) Gesiorski, Kimberly Iorio, Anthony Domenk, and Rachael Atkins, all of Kenosha, and Donovan (Amanda) Badham of Racine; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Richard and Paul; a daughter, Veronica; and four sisters, Anne Young, Marie Nizienty, Helen Cidell, and Irene Schima. The family wishes to thank the staff at Hospitality Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, the staff at St. Catherine's Hospital and Dr. Neil Shepler for Julia's wonderful care during her final illness. Private funeral services were held Tuesday at Proko Funeral Home. sorry i wasnt there when you parted grandma but you were always in my prayers you will always be loved and will be missed i know you are with the loved ones and the father in heaven your daughters sons grand childern and all your family will miss you thanks for being you and keeping the lord in our lifes with our parents it is a imporant part of our lifes to serve our lord like you did you raised good kids you are now with the father and his angels and loved ones we will all see you one day grand if we serve like you told us and my parents loved and still missed by loved ones see you and the lord one day grandma all my loved ones are always in my heart and prayers
