Beryl E. Vogelman, 77, of Kenosha, passed away Saturday, November 18th, 2006, at his home. Born February 16, 1929, in West Bend, WI, he was the son of the late Charles and Fern (Mark) Vogelman. He was educated in the schools of Racine and Kenosha, graduating from Kenosha High School, and went on to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison. On August 1, 1953, he married Nancy Main at First Presbyterian Church in Kenosha. Beryl was employed with Abbott Laboratories for 34 years, retiring as a project engineer in 1989. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Abbott Men's Retirement Club. He enjoyed traveling, woodworking, golfing, playing bridge, and vacationing up north with his family. Survivors include his wife, Nancy of Kenosha; two sons, Robert (Linda) Vogelman of Kenosha and Thomas Vogelman of Milwaukee; and two grandchildren, Amber and Scott. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Janet Detro and Diane Dreier, and a half brother, Roy Vogelman. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 22nd, at First Presbyterian Church at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at church from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.
