Winifred Eleda Winther, 89, of Kenosha passed away Wednesday, May 10th, 2006, at her residence. Born in Silver Lake, WI, on May 30, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Arlowine (Anderson) Cappelle. She came to Kenosha from Waukegan in 1942, where she has resided since. On June 18, 1942, in Waukegan, IL, she married Jerrold Winther. He passed away April 2, 1982. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and Kenosha Hospital Auxiliary. Winifred enjoyed gardening. Surviving is her daughter, Eleda Winther of Kenosha. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 13th, at Wesley United Methodist Church at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of services at Wesley Methodist Church.
