Harold George FREDERICK
Harold G. Frederick, 79, of Kenosha, was called home to the Lord on Thursday evening, April 20th, 2006. Born November 5, 1926, in Kenosha, he was the son of the late George and Margaret (Willems) Frederick. He was a lifelong resident of Kenosha and attended local schools. He was in the United States Army during World War II, entering the service on January 24, 1945, and was honorably discharged on November 25, 1946. He was a Corporal with the 706th Tank Battalion. He received the Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal, Philippine Independence Ribbon and the Good Conduct Medal. He worked at the United States Post Office in Kenosha as a letter carrier for 30 years, retiring in 1981. He was a member of the former Eagles Club of Kenosha. Harold enjoyed his life and lived it to the fullest; he was a wonderful loving father. He is survived by his three daughters, Linda (Bill) Jones of Chillicothe, OH, and Brenda (Abel Garcia, Jr.) Frederick and Sandra Szostak, both of Kenosha; two brothers, LeRoy (Sadie) Frederick of Lake Charles, LA, and Earl Frederick of Tacoma, WA; a sister, Christine Gunn of New Lisbon, WI; and his two loving grandchildren, Marcus Szostak and Ariel Thomas. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Vincent and Arnold Frederick; and three sisters, Bernice Kostelnik, Irene Quardokus and Geraldine Frederick who died at birth. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 25th, at Proko Funeral Home at 3:00 pm. Interment will be private.
