Willard C. BULL
Willard C. "Bill" Bull, 89, of Kenosha, passed away Thursday, March 9th, 2006, at Brookside Care Center. Born on September 4, 1916, in Kenosha, he was the son of the late Albert and Bessie (Christensen) Bull. He was in the United States Army during World War II. He entered the service on November 12, 1941, and was honorably discharged on September 27, 1945. He served in Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland, Central Europe and Iceland. He received the American Defense Service Ribbon, European African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with one Silver Battle Star, Seven Overseas Service Bars, One Service Stripe and the Good Conduct Medal. On June 14, 1952, in Somers, he married Delia B. Burgess. She preceded him in death on December 8, 1999. He had been employed by Eaton Corp. for 25 years as a machinist. He was a member of St. Mary's Lutheran Church and attended Somers Community United Church of Christ. He became a lifetime member of The International Association of Machinists and Aero Space Workers Union Lodge 34 and was a member of The Danish Brotherhood Lodge #14. Bill was an avid gardener and golfer on the Senior League. Surviving are his special friends, Beulah Weber of Kenosha, and Leroy and Myrtle Johnson and John and Joan Marti, both of Somers. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 14th, at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Lutheran Church. Interment to follow at Oak Wood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:30 am until the time of services at St. Mary's Lutheran Church.
