Helen Unti, 85, of Kenosha, went to walk with the Lord, on Friday, February 17th, 2006, after a short illness. Born in Kenosha on March 18, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Gerbel) Rosing. She was a lifelong resident of Kenosha and was educated in local schools. On May 11, 1946, at St. George Catholic Church, she married Raymond Unti. He passed away November 23, 1998. She had been employed by St. Catherine's Hospital, the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and Jockey International. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and a former member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. She is survived by a son, Richard Unti of Canada; two daughters, Marsha Richter of Kenosha and Janice (Tim) Lederhause of Waterford; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Gary Unti; a brother, Walter; two sisters, Clara Smith and Ruth Hanrahan; and a grandson, Michael Louis Firnges. A Mass of Christian Burial for Helen Unti will be held on Tuesday, February 21st, at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 am until the time of Mass at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Dear Marsha,Janice & Rick,I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. I have many happy childhood memories of Aunt Helen & Uncle Ray. I remember the family visits & picnics to Petrifying Springs Park. We had so many good times together. Our parents shared a very special relationship. My Mother, Colette, is the last of the four left. She is 81 yrs old now and has many health problems. I am very sorry that we will not be able to attend the funeral. My Mom has asthma and lung problems. It is difficult for her to breathe the cold air. We would like to send a card and memorial. Please give us an address where we can send it.
