Gina Elizabeth (Hansen) Dawley, 49, of Kenosha, passed away Wednesday, February 8th, 2006, peacefully at her home. Born in Kenosha on September 12, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Walter L. and Vera C. (VanWie) Hansen. She lived most of her life in Winthrop Harbor and Kenosha Co. She was a graduate of Wilmot High School class of 1974 and Gateway Technical College in 1991. In 1977, she married Timothy Dawley, he preceded her in death. Gina worked at various facilities throughout Kenosha Co., and Lake Co., as a registered nurse. She loved to sing, dance and travel. Gina was an avid genealogist and antique collector. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and on the ATV with her companion Stanley. Surviving are three daughters, Jessica (Ian) Satter of Arizona, and Tara (Dewey Dillon) Dawley and Carey (Casey Kalicki) Dawley, both of Kenosha; a son, Ryan (Shanon Mehleis) Dawley of Kenosha; a brother, Randy VanWie of Colorado; a sister, Margo Hansen-Chulew of Kenosha; her four grandchildren, Timothy Kalicki, and Elisa, Jade and Kate Dillon; and her companion, Stanley Thorsen of Kenosha. She was preceded in death by a brother, Keith Hansen; a sister, Neta Owen; and a nephew, Max Chulew. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 13th, at Proko Funeral Home at 7:00 pm. Interment will be private. I wanted to take a moment to send you some words of comfort.I am a bible student, and have learned much about the subject of death. The bible teaches that death is an enemy, not something that God uses to bring individuals to himself in heaven. At 1 Corinthians 15:26 it says:
