Salvatore C. Fasci, 77, of Salem, passed away Thursday, September 29th, 2005, at his residence. Born January 17, 1928, in Kansas City, MO, he was the son of the late Anthony and Rose Fasci. He came to the Kenosha area from Kansas City after serving in the Army. He was in the United States Army during World War II from April 1, 1946, until his honorable discharge on January 15, 1948. On February 10, 1986, in Kenosha, he married Sharon Thorn. He was employed by Chrysler Motors for 19 years, retiring in 1989. He was a member of the Italian American for 20 years, UAW Local #72, the Sweet 16 and K&R Venders Golf Leagues. He was an avid golfer, hunter, fisherman and Green Bay Packer Fan. He collected decorative knives and enjoyed gardening and cooking. Surviving are his wife, Sharon of Salem; eleven children, Jennifer (Frank) Trecroci, Michael Fasci, Ty Fasci, and Mark (Judy) Fasci all of Kenosha, Gino Fasci of Oklahoma, Patricia (Jeff) Kloet of Roscoe, IL, Harold (Penny) Lewis of Perrysburg, OH, Terry (Lori) Lewis of Elmore, OH, Kym Lewis of Kenosha, Gerald Lewis of Madison, WI, and Glen Alan Edgerton of Kenosha; two brothers, Stanley (Rosalie) Fasci and Vincent Fasci, both of Arizona; seventeen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister Ann; a brother, Leonard; three half-sisters, Mary, Frances, and Kathryn; his former wife, Concetta Fasci; and grandson, Kyle Kloet. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 3rd, at 10 a.m. at Proko Funeral Home. Entombment to follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
