Norma M LINDGREN
Norma MacIntosh Lindgren, 90, of Kenosha, died Monday (October 4th, 2004) at Sheridan Medical Complex and Rehabilitation Center. Born Aug. 2, 1914, in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Neil and Edna Elizabeth (Burke) MacIntosh. She was a graduate of Sene High School in Chicago and attended the University of Michigan. On May 30, 1941, in Selina, KS, she married Oscar Yngve Lindgren. He died May 21, 2004. She resided in Kenosha, La Crosse and Roswell, NM, before returning to Kenosha in 1997. She was the secretary of the Kenosha County Blood Bank. She was a member of the University of Michigan fencing team, and enjoyed golfing, traveling and watching the Chicago Cubs and Bears and the University of Michigan football teams. Survivors include two sons, Keith (Carol) Lindgren of Chesapeake, VA, and Scott (Sandra) Lindgren of Kenosha; a brother, Neil (Mary) MacIntosh of Hot Springs, AK; 10 grandchildren, Craig, Tim, Brian, Kyle, Karla, Sean, Kathy, Kjerstin, Kurt and Kerrie; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Bruce Lindgren and a grandson Mark. Proko Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.LINDGREN: A memorial service for Mrs. Norma MacIntosh Lindgren will be held on Sunday, October 10th, at the Proko Funeral Home and Crematory, 5111-60th St., at 3:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Sunday at the Proko Funeral Home from 2:00 PM until the time of the service.
