Dale John Swartz, Jr.

Dale John Swartz, Jr., 72, of Kenosha, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 11, 2026, at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie.

Born on January 4, 1954, in Maumee, OH, he was the son of the late Dale John and Delores (Haight) Swartz. He attended local schools. He graduated from Maumee High School, where he played football all four years and was their basketball manager.

Dale was employed by Libby Glass until his retirement.

He was a member of the World Karting Association and was a charter boat captain on Lake Erie. He enjoyed racing Go Karts, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandson, Liam. Dale was an avid Chicago White Sox, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Colorado Avalanche, and Michigan College fan. He loved watching both professional and college hockey, basketball, and football.

Dale is survived by his two children, Jon (Kaili) Swartz of Kenosha, WI, and MaryBeth Swartz of Hudson, MI; grandson, Liam Swartz; and four siblings, Janice Swartz, Jimm (Vicki) Swartz, Joannie (Bill) Sample, and JayLee Swartz.

No services were held in accordance with Dale’s wishes.
