Carol M. Camosy

Carol Mary Camosy, 83 years old, of Surprise, Arizona, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, September 21, 2026. She was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on November 9, 1942, to Louis and Hazel (Martin) Specht. She attended local schools and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School in 1961.

Carol was a devoted and wonderful mother who took great pride and joy in raising her two children. She accomplished much throughout her life and was a proud employee of Snap-On Tools.

Carol loved performing and was a gifted singer, sharing her beautiful voice and kick-line dancing skills in numerous performances with the Kenosha Junior Women’s Clubs Follies and St. Mark’s Shows-a-Poppin.

On June 7, 1987, Carol married Don W. Camosy, with whom she happily shared the rest of her life.

Carol is survived by her loving and caring husband, Don W. Camosy, of Surprise, Arizona; her sister, Doxa Brune, of Denver, Colorado; her son, Gary N. Lento, of Scottsdale, Arizona; and her stepsons, Michael Camosy, of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Jeffrey Camosy, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Lisa M. Schabel, a loss Carol carried with her for the rest of her life. They are together again.

Visitation will be held at Proko Funeral Home on Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A committal service will follow at St. George Cemetery, Kenosha, WI.
