Barbara J. Watson, 100, of Tampa, FL, formerly of Kenosha, WI, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2026, at her daughter’s home.

Born on August 3, 1925, in Eau Claire, WI, she was the daughter of the late Frank S. and Ida C. (Alstrup) Fox. She attended local schools. She then attended College of St. Therese for 1 year and went on to St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Rochester, MN for 3 years where she completed her nursing degree.

On July 8, 1950, she married George R. Watson in Eau Claire, WI. He preceded her in death on November 13, 2000.

Barbara was a former member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed boating, spending time with her family, playing cards, and enjoying the sunset.

She is survived by her five children, Roger F., David M., Anne M., Elizabeth E. and Peggy; and 11 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.

Barbara was also preceded in death by her brother, Frank A. Fox.

Private services were held with interment in All Saints Cemetery in Pleasant Prairie, WI.
