Obituary for Peter Trecroci

Peter  Trecroci
Peter Gilbert Trecroci, 85, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Hospice Alliance Hospice House.
Born in Kenosha on March 28, 1933, he was the son of the late Gaetano and Raffaela (Salfi) Trecroci. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, he was educated at Bain Elementary School and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School. In 1953, Peter joined the United States Army and served until 1955.
On September 27, 1958, he married Rose C. Funk at Holy Name Church in Racine.
Peter was employed for a short time at Simmons Company and then for 30 years by American Motors Corporation until his retirement in 1989. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Rose C. Trecroci of Kenosha; a daughter, Diane M. (son-in-law Joseph Timothy McGuire II) McGuire of Kenosha; a son, Paul (fiancé Natasha J. Gambrell) Trecroci of Madison, WI; a brother, Sam Trecroci of Kenosha; and two grandchildren, Katerina G. and Sergey P. McGuire. He is further survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, wonderful neighbors, and friends.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Frank, Gene and Si Trecroci.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 6th, at Proko Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friends and family are asked to meet on Thursday, June 7th, at St. Mary Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum with full military honors.
