Obituary for Stanley "Stan" Sielski

Stanley "Stan" Sielski
Stanley M. “Stan” Sielski, 64, of Pleasant Prairie, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 8, 2018, at his home surrounded by his loving family after a short and courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Kenosha on March 16, 1953, he was the son of the late George and Felicia (Rybacki) Sielski. He was a UW-Parkside graduate.
On October 11, 1975, he married Paula Anderson at St. Thomas Catholic Church.
Stan was the owner and operator along with his partner and friend, Jeffrey Steren of many McDonalds in the area for the last 42 years.
He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He enjoyed spending time with his cherished family, friends, and vendors; taking vacations, fishing and occasionally gambling. He will always be remembered as the life of the party.
Stan is survived by his wife, Paula of Pleasant Prairie; his three children, Ryan (Lisa) Sielski of Mt. Pleasant, and Kira (Ed) Krause and Brett Sielski, both of Pleasant Prairie; four grandchildren, Parker and Zoe Krause, and Ashlynn and Logan Sielski; and four siblings, George Sielski of Lake Geneva, Joe (Jan) Sielski, Felicia (Terry) Boerner, both of Pleasant Prairie, and Pat (Rich) Halverson of Hayward. He is further survived by many special nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to thank Hospice Alliance, Froedtert Center for Advanced Care and their staff for the compassionate care shown to Stan.
Prayers will be held on Tuesday, February 13th, at Proko Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 12th, at Proko Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Milwaukee Ronald McDonald’s House would be appreciated by the family.
