Phillip J. Dupor, 70, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 21, 2017, at Hospice Alliance Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie.
Born in Milwaukee on March 12, 1947, he was the son of the late Ferdinand and Magdalen (Fabina) Dupor. Phill graduated from Pius XI High School in 1965 and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1984.
On January 28, 1968, he married Marilyn Petura; they later divorced. On February 6, 1982, he married Susan (Huth) Koehn; together they moved to Kenosha in 1989.
Phill worked at Pabst Brewery for 27 years and managed a GNC & Vitamin World store. He was a devote Catholic, serving as a lector and Eucharistic Minister at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. He was a former youth basketball coach, an avid Milwaukee Brewers fan, loved music, and was passionate about health and fitness. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and two dogs, especially in Door County.
Surviving Phill is his wife, Susan Dupor of Kenosha; five children, Phillip Dupor of Waukesha, Shane Dupor of Kenosha, Melissa Koehn of Twin Valley, MN, Justin (Missy) Dupor of Chicago, and Jacquelyn Dupor of Kenosha; four brothers, James Dupor, Denis Dupor and Jerome Dupor, all of Milwaukee, and Paul Dupor of St. Paul, MN; a sister, Marianne (Mark) Osowski of Milwaukee; and three grandchildren, Phillip Dupor III, Madison Dupor and Logan Dupor.
Phill’s family would like to thank Dr. Malik Bandealy and his staff at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha, WI, Dr. Mark Juckett at the UW Carbone Cancer Center in Madison, WI, and the great staff at Hospice Alliance for all of the compassionate care they gave to both Phill and his family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 27th, at Proko Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and will continue on Saturday, October 28th, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church would be greatly appreciated by the family.
