Obituary for James Presley

James Presley
James A. Presley, 76, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 21, 2017, following a two-year battle with ALS.
Born on November 9, 1940, in Kenosha, he was the son of the late Arthur and Theresa (Moza) Presley. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, he was educated in local schools. James served in the United States Army from 1965 until his honorable discharge in 1967.
On December 26, 1973, he married the love of his life, Judy Schlevensky.
Jim was employed for 30 years with American Motors Corporation. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an avid billiard player, helping organize the Kenosha Pocket Billiard League. He won many team trophies and was known as the “Ice Man.” He also found great pleasure in taking trips with his wife to the casino.
Surviving Jim is his wife, Judy Presley of Kenosha; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Presley; and two sisters, Joanne Krause and Janet Presley.
As per Jim’s request, there will be no services. Memorials to the ALS Association (www.alsa.org) or to the family would be greatly appreciated.
